The Museum is housed in a two storey weather boarded building.  It is one of the last of its kind in Tenterden, representing of a type of industrial building common in the area in the latter part of the 19th century.  Inside, you can explore the industrial, agricultural and social history of the town and its surrounding area.

    Dive into the archives with our easy access interactive system which holds a wealth of unique information for project research. Make history relevant by finding out first hand what it was like to live in Tenterden & District during pre-history, the Romans, Tudors, Georgians and Victorian eras.

    • July to first weekend in October
