36. Sandwich Guildhall Museum

Sandwich Guildhall Museum tells the story of Sandwich from the Mesolithic period to the current day with eye catching displays and unique artefacts. Boasting its own Magna Carta and Charter of the Forest, children’s activities, historic Tudor Court Room and temporary exhibitions.

The museum itself is housed in the 16th century Guildhall building and as well as the museum and court room there is also the option to have a tour of the upstairs rooms, The Council Chamber, Jury Room and Mayor’s Parlour with their priceless painting collections and original features.
