Roamin’ Rex’s Award Badges
Information for parents/guardians of children who have collected 10, 20, 33, 30 or 40 Wheels of Time site badges
Roamin’ Rex Bronze and Silver and Gold Awards
When a child aged from 5 to 11 years has collected 10 different Wheels of Time site badges they will be presented with a Roamin’ Rex Bronze Award badge, when they have collected 20 site badges a Silver Award badge and when they have collected 30 Wheels of Time site badges will be able to collect the new Roamin’ Rex Gold Award.
The Gold Award will not be presented to children for whom a Wheels of Time 2018 Award has been requested.
Wheels of Time 2019 Award
Children who visit all 40 of the sites on the Roamin’ Rex 2019 map will be earn a Wheels of Time 2019 Award. Children must have visited 39 sites before the 2019 Award is requested. It can be presented at the 40th site.
Badges collected during the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Schemes count toward awards presented during 2019, but children must collect badges from all 40 of the 2019 sites to earn the 2019 Award.
Please complete the details below and at the bottom of the form tick each of the sites listed from which your child has collected a badge, by clicking on the box to the left of the site name (not required for the Wheels of Time 2019 Award for visiting all 40 sites).
- Produce award badges and contact parents/guardians to arrange presentation of the awards,
- Check the entitlement of children to receive an award claimed on their behalf
Unless specific consent is given, no personally identifiable data is shared with any third party who is not a member, or does not represent a member, of the Scheme.
We will invite the local news media to the presentation. We will ask you to complete a consent form to allow your child’s name and photograph to be published. This is not a requirement for your child to receive an award.
Responding to your request
You will receive an automated response after submittingyour request.
It can take up to two weeks from your request being submitted to the award being received by the site at which it is to be presented. Staff at the site will then contact you to arrange a date and time for the presentation.
